The ImpactAliyah Winter Fellowship in Israel is an Aliyah focus trip, in which students who are considering Aliyah learn about Israel’s opportunities and challenges and consider ways of contributing to Israeli society. Each ImpactAliyah participant will be connected to American olim in his/her area of career interest. The trips visit a variety of areas in Israel, from the north to the south, visit communities, graduate schools, and give each participant an important set of tools for a successful move to Israel.

Who: University students from anywhere in the United States or Canada who are interested in Aliyah and making an Impact in Israel, ages 18-25.
What: A pilot trip to help you successfully plan your Aliyah and get involved with making Israel a better place.
Where: All over Israel.
How much does it cost: ImpactAliyah costs $250 plus airfare. ImpactAliyah will work with you to help you fundraise the costs of joining the program and help you buy your own ticket to Israel. In the past, with the help of ImpactAliyah fundraising advisors, many participants have been able to raise the entire cost of the program fees plus airfare without having to pay anything out of pocket. In addition, ImpactAliyah has a limited amount of financial aid which will be given to applicants based on statement of financial need. ImpactAliyah will work with each accepted participant on an individual basis to guarantee that the program is financially possible for them.
When: Sunday, December 28th at 8am-January 5th at 10pm
Note when buying your ticket that you must be in Israel for the entire duration of the program in order to receive the fellowship.
Deadlines: The Application Deadline has passed, but we are still accepting applications on a case-by-case basis.
Participants must purchase their own ticket to Israel. A non-refundable $150 deposit which counts towards the $250 fee is due before November 5th. The remaining $100 must be received by November 17th. It is refundable until December 7th.
Tickets to Israel:
Once you are accepted to the program, an ImpactAliyah representative will contact you to help you purchase a ticket to Israel for the duration of the program. ImpactAliyah will not pay for this ticket, however, we will help you fundraise the for the cost of your ticket and program fees. If you already have a ticket to Israel during the time period of the trip, that’s great. If you are accepted to the program, we can help you fundraise the cost of that ticket as well. We highly recommend buying a ticket to Israel as early as possible. Feel free to contact us if you would like us to advise you on buying your ticket sooner.
