This January, we engaged students in a 10-day program in Israel focusing on practicalities of life in the Jewish State and also equipping students with skills to make a positive impact on arrival. Check out our itinerary to see what we did!
Who
20 Aliyah-minded college students from Brandeis University, Wellesley College, and the University of Maryland.
Why?
There are many reasons why we wanted to organize this trip: Because we want to move to Israel, because we wanted to see for ourselves what life in Isreal would be like, because we want to make a difference. Read our vision statement and find out more about ImpactAliyah.
How much
The program cost $250, which covers meals, transportation within israel, hotels, insurance, etc. Students purchased their own tickets to Israel, and many received grants from their local federations that helped them to defray their costs.
